Michelle Teyke is a professional actress, singer, dancer, director and choreographer. A native of Buffalo, NY, Michelle began her ballet studies at the age of 5. After training at the American Ballet Theatre School in NYC, she became a professional ballet dancer in Hannover, Germany where she rose to the status of first soloist. Michelle guested with companies such as the Duetsche Oper Berlin and the Royal Ballet of Flanders. Michelle had the honor of being coached at The Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow by Olga Tarasova for the role of Odette/Odile in Swan Lake. Michelle then moved on to musical theatre where she became a leading soloist at one of Germanys finest musical theatres, Theater des Westens, where for 11 years she played leading roles. She was voted “Best Actress” for her role as “Flaemmchen” in Grand Hotel. Michelle started a new career as a mother in Cincinnati, Ohio but could not keep away from the theatre too long. Michelle became the head of the Dance Department at Northern Kentucky University, and a faculty member at the College Conservatory of Music at The University of Cincinnati.
Now, Michelle is ready to start a new chapter in Sarasota, Florida where she has now relocated with her husband, Dominik and her 2 daughters, Vivienne and Lauren.
