Alexia brings enthusiasm and dedication to her students. She began taking dance at the age of 2 and has been dancing, teaching and choreographing ever since. Her dance studies include ballet, jazz, tap, advanced pointe, flamenco, yoga, and modern. Alexia has had Cecchietti training and examinations to the professional level with examiners from around the world. As a member of the West Coast Civic Ballet, she performed bothas a lead and principle dancer. She has performed in a mojor role in Peter and the Wolf, a principle in Les Sylphides, a lead in Cinderella, and one of the four swans in Swan Lake.
 
As a Choreoghrapher, she has choreoghraphed several broadway style musicals for Julie Rohr Academy.  Some of these musicals include: Camity Jane, Once Opon a Matress and 42 Street.  Alexia loves  working with children. she has assissted in helping with performances and teaching dance routines to students at DVSB and JRA.  Besides her experience in dance she was a 3 year Varsity Cheerleader. Alexia has been  charge of teaching dances and cheers at Cardinal Mooney High School summer Camp for 2 years. Alexia is looking forward to a wonderful year teaching her students.
